Sie er\u00f6ffnen zugleich Aktionsm\u00f6glichkeiten im Umgang mit R\u00e4umen: es zeichnet sich ab, dass physische und virtuelle Realit\u00e4ten zusehends verschmelzen. Bio-mapping \/ the anti-chamber<\/em> ist eine Installation zur Erforschung intelligenter biosensitiver R\u00e4ume der Gruppe SAM ARKA. Die Besucher treffen auf eine mit Biosensoren, ku\u0308nstlicher Intelligenz und Projektionssystemen ausgestattete technologische H\u00fclle, die auf sie reagiert und mit ihnen interagiert. Dabei registriert sie versteckte und unbewusste Bioinformationen, wie zum Beispiel Puls oder K\u00f6rpertemperatur, wertet diese aus und nutzt sie zur Erzeugung eines Raums. The anti-chamber<\/em> ist ein prototypischer Raum, der in Abwesenheit der Besucher nicht existiert. Er erlaubt uns, in eine Umwelt einzutauchen, die unsere intimen K\u00f6rperempfindungen imitiert. Wie in einem Spiegel tritt einem das eigene Selbst entgegen.<\/p>\n

K\u00f6nnen Gef\u00fchle und Kreativit\u00e4t als unabh\u00e4ngige und unantastbare menschliche Eigenschaften angesehen werden? Die Vermenschlichung der Maschine und die Technologisierung des Menschen: SAM ARKA verhandeln in ihrer Installation hochaktuelle Fragen zur neuen Qualit\u00e4t dieser Beziehung.<\/p>\n

New information technologies alter our individual living environments; they enter into and impact upon our everyday routines. At the same time, they open up possibilities of action with respect to spaces: It becomes apparent that physical and virtual realities are merging more and more. Bio-mapping \/ the anti-chamber<\/em> is an installation by the group SAM ARKA for investigating intelligent, bio-sensitive spaces. Visitors encounter a technological shell fitted out with biosensors, artificial intelligence, and projection systems which react to and interact with them. It records hidden and unconscious biological information such as pulse or body temperature, evaluates this data, and uses it to create a space. The anti-chamber is a prototypical space that doesn\u2019t exist when the visitor is absent. It allows us to enter into an environment that imitates our most intimate bodily sensations. As if in a mirror, one encounters one\u2019s own self.<\/p>\n

Can feelings and creativity be viewed as independent and inviolable human characteristics? The humanization of the machine and the technologization of the human being: In its installation, SAM ARKA investigates extremely topical issues concerning the new quality of this interaction.<\/p>\n

\nSAM ARKA was founded in 2016 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart as a cooperation of the Studio Advanced Media<\/em> of the architect and designer Kristof Gavrielides with the class for Innovative and Spatial Constructions \/ Digital Design<\/em> of the architects Prof. Tobias Wallisser and AM Sebastian Schott.<\/p>\n

SAM ARKA bildete sich 2016 an der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden K\u00fcnste Stuttgart als Kooperation des Studio Advanced Media<\/em> des Architekten und Designers Kristof Gavrielides mit der Klasse f\u00fcr Innovative Bau- und Raumkonstruktionen \/ <\/em>Digitales Entwerfen<\/em> der Architekten Prof. Tobias Wallisser und AM Sebastian Schott.<\/p>\n
